From the sunshine of Venice, CA last year. Wandering between edits on a commercial television production. Trying now to remember what the warmth feels like. It was quite a walk from Santa Monica.
And since it's so gloomy out here in Royal Oak, I think I'll scan me a batch of slides and negs from the last couple of years. But that means sitting in the "cold" room. Well, let's just see how the day plays out...
I’m a Detroit area photographer who loves the energy of the street (and grocery store aisles) but is constantly distracted by quiet idiosyncratic moments in isolation. They catch my attention with more of a question than an answer. It's not always the obvious image of a clearly definable action. It's the unstated that gets me. More like jazz; it's what's in between the notes that makes the melody. At least I think I can hear something. And I wish to share it with all who want to see.

I love the fact that although I want to crop the hell out of some of your photos to examine the results, you know better.
